Of One Mind consists of an ongoing series of essays about horses and riding. The overall theme is one of developing a non-threatening relationship between horse and rider; that is, non-threatening to either one. While my area of personal experience is in the field of hunter/jumper/dressage/CT, these essays can apply to all disciplines because they are about horses and riding in general, rather than specific training techniques.

My expertise in this field is based on: 60+ years of riding and training; 50+ years of teaching; 30+ years of managing stables large and small; and I have been Certified as an Expert Instructor by the American Riding Instructor's Association, of which organization I was also voted Instructor of the Year in 1989.
